Please join the MIT Sloan Sales Club in congratulating the winners of the 3rd Annual International MBA Sales Competition. The final rounds of this competition were held at MIT Sloan on Oct 17, 2009. The competition, a test of participant's managerial sales capabilities, consisted of three rounds, with top 3 scorers from the first round of each business school representing their schools as finalists in the International Competition. The second and third rounds consisted of both individual and group sales pitches. SAP & Google sponsored the event and the top prize. SalesGravy.com and Gallup Group sponsored the second and third prizes respectively. This year over 150 participants from 13 top business schools participated, breaking all previous records!
If you want to be involved in the 2010 Competition, please send an email to: organizers@sloansalesclub.com and we will add you to the invitation mailing list. Invitations generally go out in late August, but we will strive to contact you in May before the summer recess. To be eligible to compete, your school will need to have at least 3 people participate in the preliminary round and you must be able to travel to Cambridge, MA should you be selected as a finalist (likely date for 2010 is October 16th).
This competition will be an innovative and unique learning experience where participating students will face a dynamic case competition exploring real-life sales situations as well as interacting with high-level and successful sales executives.
